PAC’s Ashfield residential aged care home has an ideal location just an easy walk to the Ashfield train station and close to Westfield Burwood.
PAC Ashfield is a warm and inviting care home and offers 3 distinct types of accommodation: Basic, more complex, and dementia care, each reflecting the level of care required. These are linked by 3 courtyards, giving the home a village-type feel, providing residents with a sense of community and of space. Having all 3 levels in the one location has the benefit that if your needs increase, you do not have to uproot and relocate. The home is also located across the street from our retirement village so if your partner, sibling, or loved one does not require a care home they can still be “next door”.
Residents have access to multiple outdoor areas and balconies enabling them to enjoy the fresh air and bask in the sunshine.
Standard rooms and dementia rooms all have private ensuites, and more complex care is provided in special shared rooms which all have access to the large balcony that surrounds the building, with either a street or courtyard outlook. The dementia unit offers a secure environment to prevent wandering. It is light and bright and residents can move about freely. A secure sensory garden tops it off to allow residents to enjoy the outdoors freely too.
Support and assistance is available for showering, dressing, medication administration and supervision, nursing and personal care needs, all provided by our highly qualified, dedicated and experienced care staff who are available 24 hours a day. We also offer leisure and recreational programs designed to support, challenge and enhance the social, emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being of our residents. PAC Ashfield also has podiatry, dental and physiotherapy services on-site.
